The Rubi Slipper in Alamosa

What a selection!!! The menu is overwhelming with delicious options for such a cute diner. I ordered a Juicy Lucy, cheese stuffed burger with fresh fries. Hubs had the Frankenstein, which was a double patty monstrosity on Texas toast with green chillies, mushrooms and cheddar. I see why this restaurant has repeatedly won best of awards for years! There is ample parking, and we were towing a trailer, so this was convenient for a mid afternoon late lunch. Will be back!!!

Always love the rubi slipper. First place i ate at when I came here for job interview. Large drinks. Variety of food and everything ive had is good! Bummer they are closed sun and mon 😔

Great atmosphere. Great service. Great cheesecake and even better food! I had the Ranchhand Burger (or something like that). Hand patted patty with bacon wrapped jalapenos on top with onion rings on the side. Added a patty to make it a double and man, was it good!!! The food arrived fast and fresh. The onion rings were very tender and crispy on the outside, like they're supposed to be...DELICIOUS!

Large menu, prompt and friendly service, and solid bar food. French dip and buffalo wraps were both great and they honored our request of no salt on fried with a smile and nailed it.

3 kids and 2 adults, all agree 5 stars!! The food was absolutely delicious. Steak nachos, grilled cheese, kid burger, and 2 adult burgers. Homemade fries and wonderful potato salad. All agree we would love to come back here. Everything was fresh and made per order. Pay attention to side charges for sauces and extras, but not too bad. Cant wait to visit again!

Nice, clean tables and chairs and excellent service. I had the stacked enchiladas which was yummy; my partner had the Juicy Lucy burger which was a bit under cooked. Pretty busy place but nice environment.

This place is terrific! Dine-In is open. Food is outstanding and the service was far above our expectations. No masks required. God bless.

Great food and so many selections of burgers! Our family tried three different burgers and they were all fantastic! Homemade fries were delicious. Staff was incredibly helpful and very nice. They went above and beyond. A must visit if you are in Alamosa area.

Excellent customer service and delicious food. We called an order in and when we arrived found their credit card machine to be down. We went to get cash to pay and they held our order. When we returned to pick up our order they had made us a free side of fries for the inconvenience. Which wasn’t their fault anyways. I had the blue burger and requested it to be cooked medium rare, which it was perfectly. I highly suggest the blue burger if you are a blue cheese fan. My husband had the bacon burger and he enjoyed it as well. Great experience and would return again!

The food was phenomenal! Would certainly wholeheartedly recommend and will return when we are in the area.

Amazing burgers, fries done to perfection, ice cold libations on tap and a terrific wait staff. Oh, and one of a kind home made cheesecake creations that are out of this world. What is not to like? Highly recommended!
